Rule 19-2015 - PHYSICIAN'S LICENSE

2015.1

No person shall act as physician in an event without a physician's license issued pursuant to this chapter.

2015.2

An applicant for a license as a physician under this chapter shall submit with the application:

(a) Proof satisfactory to the Commission that the applicant is licensed to practice medicine in the District and is in good standing; and

(b) A statement of the educational and professional experience of the applicant.

2015.3

An applicant under this section shall complete a period of apprenticeship under a physician licensed by the Commission.

2015.4

The Commission shall not grant a license to an applicant under this section unless it has received a recommendation of the chief physician concerning the applicant's qualifications based on the applicant's performance during the period of apprenticeship.
