Rule 19-1579 - WILDLIFE PROTECTION: ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTIES
1579.1

The Mayor may bring an action in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia to enjoin the violation or threatened violation of §§ 1565-1577.

1579.2

Civil fines, penalties, and fees may be imposed as alternative sanctions for an infraction of §§ 1565-1577, pursuant to titles I-III of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs Civil Infractions Act of 1985 (D.C. Official Code §2-1801, et seq. (2016 Repl.)). Adjudications of any infraction of §§ 1565-1577 will be pursuant to titles I-III of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs Civil Infractions Act of 1985.

Except when otherwise provided by statute, a person violating a provision of §§ 1565-1577 shall be fined according to the schedule set forth in Title 16 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations.
