Rule 19-1566 - WILDLIFE PROTECTION: WILDLIFE REHABILITATION RECORD KEEPING AND REPORTING

1566.1

A wildlife rehabilitator shall maintain records of all wildlife rehabilitation activities for each wild animal in his or her care, including the:

(a) Species;

(b) Date of admission;

(c) Location of collection;

(d) Reason for admission;

(e) All medications administered, treatments, and/or procedures performed; and

(f) Final disposition of the animal, including date and location of release.

On or before January 15 of each year, a wildlife rehabilitator shall submit a copy of their wildlife rehabilitation activities for the proceeding calendar year to the Department.
