Rule 18-3019 - DETERMINATIONS OF APPEALS
3019.1

The Appeals Board shall issue a decision in the form as determined by the Director. The Appeals Board shall send the decision by ordinary postal mail to the appellant at the address of the appellant's attorney or representative, and if none, to the appellant's address of record on file with the Department. For out-ofstate respondents, the address of the appellant available through the Washington Area Law Enforcement System, or similar interstate database containing information from state license-issuing agencies shall be considered the appellant's address of record on file with the Department.

3019.2

At the discretion of the Appeals Board or the Chairperson of the Appeals Board, an order staying a revocation or suspension of a driver's permit may be issued at any time in the interest of justice pending the final determination of the appeal.

3019.3

The Chairperson of the Appeals Board may issue a final determination when the appeal is dismissed pursuant to § 3014.11 or § 3017.7.

3019.4

The determination of the Appeals Board shall be the final review within the Department.
