When issuing a driver's license, the Director shall indicate on the license the type or general class of vehicle(s) the licensee shall be permitted to drive.
The Director shall establish the qualifications which he or she believes are reasonably necessary for the safe operation of the various types, sizes, or combinations of vehicles.
The Director shall examine each applicant appropriately to determine the applicant's qualification according to the type or general class of license for which the applicant has applied.
