Rule 17-3909 - PENALTIES
3909.1

Each licensee shall be liable for all penalties provided for violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, whether the violations are committed by the licensee or the licensee's agent or employee.

3909.2

Pursuant to D.C. Official Code § 47-2846, any person violating any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction, be fined not more than three hundred dollars ($300) or imprisoned for not more than ninety (90) days, or both.

3909.3

Civil fines, penalties, and fees may be imposed as alternative sanctions for any infraction of this regulation pursuant to titles I-III of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs Civil Infractions Act of 1985. Adjudication of any infraction of this regulation shall be pursuant to titles I-III of the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs Civil Infractions Act of 1985.
