Medical examinations of persons offered employment may be required, as a part of the selection process when health is considered to be a bona fide occupational qualification. These medical examinations must be given after a conditional job offer is made, but before the employee is placed in a position.
Regular health examinations are required for members of the pest control program and positions subject to environmental hazards.
Random drug testing will be conducted throughout the Authority in occupations related to public safety and health, and positions requiring interaction with the public.
