Rule 14-6001 - AMENDMENT OF RULES

6001.1

Any revision or amendment of chapters 60 through 65 shall be consistent with the provisions of the District of Columbia Administrative Procedure Act, D.C. Official Code §§ 2-501 et seq. (2001), except as provided for in this section.

6001.2

The rules under chapters 60 through 65 may be amended by DCHA as follows:

(a) By publication as a notice in the D.C. Register where amendments are required pursuant to Federal law and regulation, and where such Federal regulation has been issued pursuant to the Federal Administrative Procedure Act; or

(b) Where Federal regulation provides any discretionary element to DHCA in adopting a policy, amendments shall be published as rules.

6001.3

Any amendment to the rules under § 6001.2 shall be posted in all appropriate management offices of the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA) properties.
