Any repair or improvement which may be required by a notice issued under the authority of this subtitle for which a permit is required to be issued shall not be made until the District has issued a permit.
The permit shall not be conditioned on the making of any repair or improvement, except as required under this subtitle or in order to comply with a notice issued under the authority of this subtitle.
All work performed under a permit shall be done in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. If there is any difference in standards between this subtitle and other applicable regulations of the District, the provisions of this subtitle shall apply.
