Strike Section M1201.2 of the International Residential Code in its entirety and insert a new Section M1201.2 into the Residential Code in its place to read as follows:
Administrative requirements. The provisions of Chapter 1 of the Building Code , Title 12-A DCMR shall establish the general administrative requirements applicable to mechanical systems and inspection requirements of the Residential Code . The administrative provisions of Chapter 1 of the Building Code , Title 12-A DCMR, shall also apply to the mechanical requirements of Chapters 13 through 24.
