Rule 12-J606 - STRUCTURALInsert new Section 606.3 to the Existing Building Code to read as follows:
606.3Reduction of strength. Repairs shall not reduce the structural strength or stability of the building, structure or any individual member thereof.
Exception: Such reduction shall be allowed if structural integrity is not reduced below the current Building Code levels as determined by the code official.
