Rule 10-B6503 - APPLICATION FOR DESIGNATION OF NEW ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ZONES
6503.1

An applicant for designation of a new economic development zone shall submit to the Development Zone Administrator an application form, prescribed by the Development Zone Administrator, including the following information:

(a) The percentage of the labor force unemployed in the proposed economic development zone according to the Department of Labor;
(b) The poverty rate in the proposed economic development zone according to U.S. Census data;
(c) The percentage of population change between 1980 and 1990 in the proposed economic development zone according to U.S. Census data;
(d) The percentage of households in the proposed economic development zone with income less than eighty percent (80%) of the median income of the District of Columbia;
(e) The District-wide annual average unemployment rate for the calendar year;
(f) The annual average unemployment rate of the proposed development zone for the calendar year; and
(g) Comparative labor force data for the District and the proposed economic development zone.
