The original drawing of the wall report shall be filed with the Office of the Surveyor only after it has been stamped with the certification required pursuant to § 2810.3 and accompanied with the field notes made pursuant to § 2812.
Each copy of the certified wall report shall be stamped by the Office of the Surveyor to indicate that the report is received for filing in accordance with this chapter.
The acceptance of the wall report and field notes for filing by the Office of the Surveyor shall not constitute or be construed as an official approval or certification, by the D.C. Surveyor or the Government of the District of Columbia, of the accuracy of the wall report performed by the Registered Land Surveyor.
It shall be the responsibility of the Registered Land Surveyor to furnish a copy of the completed report to the Building Inspector's Office of the D.C. Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.
