Rule 10-B2010 - LAND DISPOSITION HEARINGS
2010.1

The procedures and definitions contained in. §§ 2010 through 2027 shall be applicable to the process by which a public hearing is held by the Agency on dispositions of land under D.C. Code § 5-806(c) (1981).

2010.2

The Board of Directors may delegate to the Executive Director procedural responsibilities under §§ 2010 through 2027, including those described in § 2012.6 and § 2023.

2010.3

The decision as to the method of conducting dispositions of land prior to the issuance of the notice required by § 2016.1 shall be made by the Board in its sole discretion.

2010.4

The Board may postpone, terminate, or adjourn any disposition hearing at any time. The Board may reschedule a postponed disposition hearing only after ten (10) days notice, or a shorter period that the Board determines to be reasonable.

2010.5

Board members shall not communicate, directly or indirectly, in connection with any issue of fact, with any person or party, nor, in connection with any issue of law, with any party or his attorney except upon notice and opportunity for all parties to participate.

2010.6

A Board member may communicate with other members of the Board and Agency employees and may have the aid and assistance of the staff of the Agency.

2010.7

The Board reserves the right to waive or modify the procedures set forth in §§ 2010 through 2027, so long as substantial rights are not impaired by the waiver.
