Current through Register Vol. 71, No. 24, June 14, 2024
Rule 1-1600 - PURPOSE AND SCOPE
1600.1

This chapter establishes the minimum requirements for implementation of D.C. Law 6-103, the "District of Columbia Residence Doorknob Notice Act of 1985," which requires the District of Columbia government to leave a notice at a residence whenever it attempts and fails to provide a service to that residence.

1600.2

This chapter shall apply to District agencies from which bulk trash collection, tree trimming, alley cleaning, leaf collection services and inspections for alleged housing code violations have been requested and cannot be delivered due to an act or omission on the part of the resident (for example, no one at home to allow access to private property, or bulky wastes were not found at the proper point of collection).
