Section 3305-I-2.0 - Authority and Applicability

The Department is authorized by 16Del.C., Ch. 11to license and regulate group homes for adults. These regulations shall apply to group homes as defined in Section 3.0. These regulations address the minimum acceptable level of living and programmatic conditions for residents of group homes. The term "Group Homes for Persons with Mental Illness" shall not be used as part of the official name of any facility in this State, unless it has been so licensed by the Department.
