Section 3301-6.0 - Fire Safety6.1 Fire safety in group homes shall comply with the adopted rules and regulations of the State Fire Prevention Commission. Enforcement of Fire Regulations is the responsibility of the State Fire Prevention Commission. All applications for a license or renewal of a license must include, with the application, a letter certifying compliance by the Fire Marshal having jurisdiction. Notification of noncompliance with the Rules and Regulations of the State Fire Prevention commission shall be grounds for revocation of a license.6.2 There must be sufficient staff (a minimum of two) awake and on duty at all times including the night shift, to evacuate all residents in case of fire. More than two staff shall be on duty at all times if the Fire Marshal determines that more staff is required to evacuate residents timely in case of fire.6.3 Residents and all staff on each shift shall be trained in executing the evacuation plan.6.4 Evacuation drills must be held at least quarterly on each shift for all staff and residents.16 Del.
