This regulation shall apply to the issuance of a Middle Level Social Studies Teacher Standard Certificate pursuant to 14 Del.C. § 1220(a). The Middle Level Social Studies Teacher Standard Certificate is required for grades 6, 7 and 8 in a middle level Delaware public school. Notwithstanding the above requirement, the Secondary Social Studies Teacher Standard Certificate may be used for grades 6, 7 and 8 in a middle level school in lieu of the Middle Level Social Studies Teacher Standard Certificate.
