Section 8-336f-4 - Technical assistanceA local housing partnership which has received an initial designation shall be eligible to receive from the Department technical assistance which shall include, but not be limited to:
(a) the assignment of a primary contact person to work directly with the local housing partnership;(b) obtaining assistance, when necessary, from other state agencies, regional planning agencies, regional housing councils and the Central Housing Committee, on behalf of the local housing partnership;(c) assisting the local housing partnership in developing a comprehensive local housing strategy;(d) assisting the partnership in identifying available local resources;(e) discussing possible ways to create and preserve affordable housing through the use of conventional and alternative financing and through public and private land use controls;(f) explaining the features and the types of financial assistance available under state housing programs; and(g) providing information and advice concerning available federal and private financial assistance for all aspects of housing development.Conn.
