Section 6-38b-3 - Examination(a) The State Marshal Commission shall administer to each applicant for appointment as a state marshal a written examination to determine the applicant's knowledge of service of process and execution.(b) The examination shall include, but not be limited to, the following subjects: (1) The functions of a state marshal, including, service of process and execution; and(2) Familiarity with the applicable portions of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Connecticut Practice Book and the commission's regulations.(c) A raw score of at least 80 percent shall be required to pass the examination.Conn.
