Section 51-275a-6.3 - Procedure after petition filed(a) Upon receipt of the petition, the Commission shall within thirty (30) days determine whether to deny the petition or to initiate regulation making proceedings in accordance with law.(b) If the Commission denies the petition, the petitioner shall be given notice in writing stating the reasons for the denial.(c) If the Commission grants the petition, it shall initiate regulation making proceedings. The Commission may modify or restructure the proposed regulation before notice of intent to adopt regulations is published. Conn. Agencies Regs. § 51-275a-6.3
