Section 51-44a-2 - Authority(a) The commission shall seek qualified candidates (including incumbent judges seeking appointment to a different court) for consideration by the governor for nomination as judges for the superior court, appellate court, and supreme court, as provided by section 51-44a(f) of the General Statutes,(b) The commission shall evaluate incumbent judges who seek reappointment to the same court, as provided by section 51-44a(e), of the General Statutes.Conn.
