Conn. Agencies Regs. § 46a-54-45a
A respondent may request, for good cause shown, an extension of fifteen (15) days within which to file its answer to a complaint. All requests shall be in writing, addressed to the commission's representative named in the letter accompanying the complaint, with a copy served upon the complainant or the complainant's representative in accordance with section 46a-54-19 a(a)(2) of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies. Such requests shall be received prior to the date the answer was originally due. Requests for extension of time may be granted, for good cause shown, or denied at the discretion of the commission's representative. The response to a request for extension of time shall inform the respondent of the date the answer is due.
