The purposes of the Trust are (a) to promote and enhance the affordability and accessibility of higher education for residents of the State of Connecticut, and (b) to enable Account Owners and Designated Beneficiaries to avail themselves of tax benefits provided for Qualified Tuition Programs under the Internal Revenue Code and the Connecticut General Statutes.
