Section 29-349-288 - Use of blasting agentsPersons using blasting agents shall comply with all the applicable provisions of these regulations concerning the use of explosives and as set forth in this section.
(a) Pneumatic loading from bulk delivery vehicles into boreholes primed with electric blasting caps or other static-sensitive systems shall meet the following requirements:(1) A positive grounding device shall be used to prevent accumulation of static electricity.(2) A discharge hose shall be used that has a resistance range that will prevent conducting stray currents, but that is conductive enough to bleed off static buildup.Conn.
