Section 29-161z-5 - Instructor training and record retention requirements(a) The course administrator shall maintain all training records for six (6) years. Such records shall be made available for inspection by sworn members of the Department of Public Safety, Division of State Police. Such training records shall include, but not be limited to, written examinations and test scores.(b) An instructor shall obtain a pistol permit as provided by section 29-28 of the Connecticut General Statutes and shall provide proof of successful completion of the course of instruction required by said section 29-28.(c) An instructor shall complete an instructor information sheet and submit to state and national criminal history records checks.Conn.
