Section 27-102l(d)-102 - Admission requirements and general eligibility(a) Each veteran shall meet the following admission requirements: (1) Submit a substantially completed application (DD214),(2) Be technically eligible,(3) Be recommended for admission by a review panel,(4) Receive administrative approval,(5) Agree to a voluntary admission,(6) Agree to participate in appropriate placement and program planning,(7) Authorize the release of information from other health care providers and institutions to the Department,(8) Upon actual admission, present care needs shall be similar to those reflected in the application and for which the Department has one or more appropriate programs to serve the veteran's needs at time of admission,(9) Agree to participate in a plan of care which contains mutually agreeable treatment, social or independent programs components, and agree to periodic evaluations and adjustments as required by changes in the veteran's condition,(10) Agree to comply with rules and regulations of the Department, including full disclosure of financial information necessary to determine the veteran's ability to pay, and(11) Satisfy waiting list requirements, if applicable.(b) The Department shall not admit or detain a veteran against his will or a veteran for whom the Department may not have an appropriate service, activity, or program.Conn.
