Each operator of a nuclear power generating facility shall notify the Commissioner of Environmental Protection or his designee, which may be another State Agency, as soon as possible but in all cases within one hour, by telephone, of the occurrence of significant events as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 50, Section 50.72 ( 10CFR 50.72 ) "Notification of Significant Events" as amended and interpreted by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Latest revision on file with the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, Hartford, Connecticut).
