In addition to the requirements incorporated by reference in section 22a-153-1 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies, a person subject to this section shall comply with the requirements of this section.
Notwithstanding the incorporation by reference of 10 CFR 35.65, a licensee authorized for medical use of radioactive materials shall not receive, possess or use radium in total quantity of ten microcuries (10 nCi) or thirty-seven hundredths megabecquerels (.37 MBq), or more for check, calibration, transmission and reference use except as specifically authorized by the commissioner.
