Section 21a-408-19 - Number of producers(a) The department shall issue at least three, but no more than ten, producer licenses.(b) Prior to issuing any additional producer licenses, the commissioner shall determine that additional producers are desirable to assure access to marijuana for qualifying patients, which determination shall be made based on the size and location of the production facilities in operation, the amount of marijuana each production facility is producing, the number of qualifying patients registered with the department and the convenience and economic benefits to qualifying patients or dispensary facilities.Conn.
