Section 21a-408-13 - Number of dispensaries and dispensary facilities(a) Only a dispensary at a dispensary department may dispense marijuana.(b) The commissioner shall issue at least one dispensary facility license and may issue additional dispensary facility licenses upon a determination that additional dispensary facilities are desirable to assure access to marijuana for qualifying patients. Such determination shall be made based on the size and location of the dispensary facilities in operation, the number of qualifying patients registered with the department and the convenience and economic benefits to qualifying patients.(c) Each dispensary facility may employ no more than fifteen dispensaries at a time without prior approval from the commissioner, one of whom shall be designated as the dispensary facility manager.Conn.
