Section 21a-58-22 - Goats milk ice cream and goats milk ice milk: identity; label statement(a)Description. Goats milk ice cream is a food prepared in the same manner and from the same ingredients permitted for ice cream in Section 21a-58-15 and shall comply with all the provisions of Section 21a-58-15 including provisions for label statements of optional ingredients except that all milkfat and nonfat milk solids shall be from goats milk. No milkfat or nonfat milk solids from any source other than goats milk will be permitted in goats milk ice cream. On the label, in the name of the food, the letters in the words "Goats Milk" shall be the same size, type, and color, and on the same contrasting background as the letters in the words "Ice Cream."(b) Goats milk ice milk is a food prepared in the same manner and from the same ingredients permitted for ice milk in Section 21a-58-16 and shall comply with all the provisions of Section 21a-58-16 including provisions for label statements of optional ingredients except that all milkfat and nonfat milk solids shall be from goats milk.
