Section 21a-58-12 - Milk shake mix

Milk shake mix is a food prepared from the same ingredients and in the same manner prescribed in section 21a-58-15(g) for ice cream mix, and complies with all the provisions of section 21a-58-15 except that:

(a) Its content of milk fat is not less than three and one-quarter per cent.

(b) Its content of total milk solids is not less than 13.25 per cent.

(c) Caseinates may be added when the content of total milk solids is not less than 13.25 per cent. The name of the product is "milk shake mix."
