Section 20-576-26 - Prescription procedures(a) Oral orders from a prescribing practitioner or his agent for new prescriptions or oral authorizations for prescription refills shall be communicated directly to a pharmacist. Nothing in this subsection shall be construed to prevent a pharmacy technician from obtaining prescription renewal authorizations in accordance with sections 20-576-35 and 20-576-39 of the Regulations of Connecticut State Agencies.(b) All electronically transmitted prescriptions shall be received directly in the prescription department of a pharmacy.Conn.
