Section 19a-177-8 - Prohibited acts(a) No facility, institution or other entity shall represent itself to be a trauma facility unless it is designated as such by the OEMS.(b) No designated trauma facility shall advertise services or capabilities for the treatment of trauma patients above those for which it has been designated.(c) No EMS provider shall take a trauma patient meeting the criteria as determined by the field triage protocols to a hospital other than the facility identified by either protocol or medical direction.Conn.
