Section 17a-147-31 - Referral process(a) The program shall consider for admission all referrals regardless of race, sex, religion, disabilities or ethnic origin. The program shall certify that it has notified the appropriate parties of its decision in writing no more than forty-five (45) days from the date of receipt of the application.(b) In the case of refusal, the extended day treatment program shall document the reason for refusing admission and so inform the referring agency of these reasons and include recommendations for a more appropriate treatment program.Conn.
