Section 16-50j-37 - Procedure after petition filed(a)Decision on petition.Not later than 30 days after receipt of a petition for regulation pursuant to Section 4-174 of the Connecticut General Statutes, the Council shall deny the petition in writing or initiate regulation-making proceedings in accordance with Section 4-168 of the Connecticut General Statutes.
(b)Procedure on denial. If the council denies the petition, the council shall give the petitioner notice in writing, stating the reasons for the denial based upon the data, facts, and arguments submitted with the petition by the petitioner and upon such additional data, facts, and arguments as the council shall deem appropriate.Conn.
