Section 14-298-501 - Legal authority(a) Traffic signs shall be placed only by the authority of a public body or official having jurisdiction, for the purpose of regulating, warning or guiding traffic.(b) No traffic sign or its support installed for the purpose of regulating, warning or guiding traffic shall bear any message that is not essential to traffic control.Conn.
