Rule 3 CCR 708-1-75.2 - Rebuttable Presumption of Covered EmploymentIt shall be presumed that a worker who performs services for remuneration is an employee, unless the alleged employer demonstrates that the worker is an independent contractor. The burden of proof is on the alleged employer to demonstrate that a worker is an independent contractor and not an employee.
