Section 1 CCR 301-112-4.0 - SEIZURE CARE GUIDELINES4.1 By October 2021, in order to support school districts in meeting the requirements of the law, the Department, in consultation with recognized sources on epilepsy and seizure disorders and a state organization that represents school nurses, must develop seizure care guidelines. The guidelines must identify recognized sources that provide training for school personnel on seizure recognition and seizure first aid for epilepsy and seizure disorders. Such guidelines must be consistent with programs and guidelines developed by these recognized sources.4.2 The Department must review such guidelines at least every three years to ensure that they remain consistent with best practices.44 CR 21, November 10, 2021, effective 12/15/2021
