Section 8 CCR 1402-1-2.521 - FIELD TRIPSA. On a field trip or during a mobile school-age child care program: 1. The center must notify the children's parents /guardians in advance of any field trip. The staff-child ratios found at rule section 2.509 must be maintained at all times;2. All groups of children must be directly supervised by a qualified program director or program leader at all times;3. An accurate itinerary of each field trip must remain at the center;4. The staff must have the following information about each child: parents/guardians contact information; health care provider's name, address, and phone number; and the written authorization from parent(s)/guardian(s) for emergency medical care.5. If children attending the field trip require medications to be administered during the field trip or have special health needs, a staff member with current medication administration training and delegation must attend the field trip;6. A list of all children and staff on a field trip must be kept at the center; and7. A copy of the emergency disaster plan must accompany staff offsite.46 CR 22, November 25, 2023, effective 12/15/2023
