Section 6 CCR 1011-1-20-11 - ANESTHESIA11.1 The use of flammable anesthetics in ambulatory surgical centers is prohibited.11.2 The center shall provide anesthesia services commensurate with the services provided.11.3 General or regional anesthesia or analgesia shall be administered only by a physician qualified by training, experience and ability in anesthesiology or a certified, registered nurse anesthetist who is recognized and included on the Advanced Practice Registry of the Colorado Board of Nursing. In the case of dental treatment, dentists may administer local anesthetics.
