Part 8 - QUALITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

8.1 Each CC shall comply with the requirements of 6 CCR 1011-1, Chapter 2, Part 4.1.

8.2 If a CC is part of a larger system consisting of multiple hospitals/CCs using a system governing body that is legally responsible for the conduct of two or more hospitals/CCs, the system governing body may have a unified quality management program (QMP) provided the QMP does the following:

(A) Takes into account each CC's unique circumstances and any significant differences in patient populations and services offered in each CC; and

(B) Establishes and implements policies and procedures to ensure the needs and concerns of each CC, regardless of practice or location, are given due consideration, and that the unified Quality Management Program has mechanisms in place to ensure that issues localized to particular CCs are duly considered and addressed.
