Section 5 CCR 1002-32.31 - STATEMENT OF BASIS, SPECIFIC STATUTORY AUTHORITY AND PURPOSE: MAY, 2001 RULEMAKING

The provisions of sections 25-8-202(1)(a), (b) and (2); 25-8-203; 25-8-204; and 25-8-402, C.R.S., provide the specific statutory authority for adoption of the attached regulatory amendments. The Commission also adopted, in compliance with section 24-4-103(4), C.R.S., the following statement of basis and purpose.

BASIS AND PURPOSE

As a result of a July, 2000 rulemaking hearing the Commission adopted numerous revisions to the Basic Standards and Methodologies for Surface Water, Regulation #31 (5 CCR 1002-31). These revisions included revisions to the table values in Tables II and III, which are intended to apply to site-specific waters in the various river basins wherever the Commission has adopted "table value standards". In this current rulemaking, the Commission adopted revisions to section 32.6 of this regulation to conform with the revisions to the Basic Standards.
