Section 5 CCR 1002-22.1 - SCOPE AND PURPOSE(1) These regulations are promulgated in implementation of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act (CWQCA) and, in particular, sections 25-8-202(1)(e) 25-8-202(1)(i), and 25-8-702 C.R.S., as amended and are designed to be in conformity with the CWQCA.(2) These regulations apply to construction of domestic wastewater treatment works, including wastewater treatment plants, individual sewage disposal systems, lift (pumping) stations, and certain interceptor sewers with a design capacity to receive greater than 2,000 gallons per day of domestic wastewater, as well as certain facilities that produce reclaimed domestic wastewater.(3) Nothing in these regulations shall be construed to limit a local government's authority to impose land-use or zoning requirements or other limitations on the activities subject to these regulations.43 CR 10, May 25, 2020, effective 6/14/2020
