Statement of Basis, Specific Statutory Authority and Purpose; Adopted: November 20, 2008
The November 20, 2008 amendments repeal the contingency measures for the Canon City area, which measures are no longer required by federal law because the area was redesignated to an attainment area for particulate matter in July of 2001 and shows continued maintenance of the standard through 2020. Nothing in this rule change exceeds the minimum requirements of the federal act.
