Section 6 CCR 1007-2-1.0 - Inspection of Off-Site Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites

(a) The Department shall conduct inspections of off-site hazardous waste disposal sites a minimum of once a month.

(b) Inspections may be conducted by the Department at a frequency greater than that specified in paragraph (a) of this section taking into account the following factors:

(1) Types of activity conducted at the facility, including but not limited to waste treatment, storage, or disposal;

(2) The amount of waste received and frequency of receipt;

(3) Type of waste received, including but not limited to its physical and chemical characteristics, toxicity, and type of management;

(4) Compliance history; or

(5) Findings of previous inspections.
