Section 6 CCR 1007-1-24.9 - Quality Assurance For Radiation Therapy Simulation Systems24.9.1 Quality assurance for a simulator shall include acceptance testing and periodic verification of system performance; and24.9.2 Be performed (unless the Registered Medical Physicist determines and documents that a particular recommendation is not warranted for the clinical task for which the equipment will be used) in accordance with: 24.9.2.1 AAPM Report 46, for a radiographic/fluoroscopic simulator; or24.9.2.2 AAPM Report 83 for a computed tomography based simulator.Colorado Register, Vol 37, No. 14.
