Section 6 CCR 1007-1-9.11 - Ventilation Systems9.11.1 Ventilation systems shall be provided to ensure that personnel entering any area where airborne radioactivity may be produced will not be exposed to airborne radioactive material in excess of those limits specified in Part 4, Appendix 4B, Table 4B1.9.11.2 A registrant shall not vent, release, or otherwise discharge airborne radioactive material to an unrestricted area which exceeds the limits specified in Part 4, Appendix 4B, Table 4B2, except as authorized pursuant to 4.33.9.11.3 For purposes of 9.11.1 and 9.11.2, concentrations may be averaged over a period not greater than one year.9.11.4 Every effort should be made to maintain releases of radioactive material to unrestricted areas as far below the limits prescribed in 9.11.1 and 9.11.2 as is reasonably achievable.Colorado Register, Vol 37, No. 14.
