Section 6 CCR 1007-1-5.19 - Supervision of Radiographer's Assistants5.19.1 The radiographer's assistant shall be under the personal supervision of a radiographer when using radiographic exposure devices, associated equipment, or a sealed source, or while conducting radiation surveys required by 5.21.1.2 to determine that the sealed source has returned to the shielded position or the radiation machine is off after an exposure.5.19.2 The personal supervision must include: 5.19.2.1 The radiographer's physical presence at the site where the sources of radiation are being used;5.19.2.2 The availability of the radiographer to give immediate assistance if required; and5.19.2.3 The radiographer's direct observation of the assistant's performance of the operations referred to in this section.Colorado Register, Vol 37, No. 14.
